From "not just about sex".
"The sad thing is is that it's taking WAY more courage and soul searching to end this, than was ever put into starting this marriage."
I am sure this is a universal truth.

I'd bet good money that the general run of stories on the "talkaboutmarriage" site would not differ greatly to this "ILIASM" site.
That is to say, sure, you'd find some rare recovery stories in "talkaboutmarriage" (just as you'll find some rare recovery stories in "ILIASM)
I'd suggest that if you are in a dysfunctional marriage, your story isn't going to be any better (or worse) if you post it on "talkingaboutmarriage" or you post it on "ILIASM" or some other site dealing in dysfunctional marriages.
It's a bit like reading the articles in "The New York Times" about the coronavirus, or reading the coronavirus articles in "The Guardian". Essentially they're the same articles drawn from the same facts.

One thing I noticed about "talkaboutmarriage" (TAM) has more people there that are against affairs than "ILIASM." I also read about more divorces on "talkaboutmarriage" than on ILIASM.
TAM does have political discussions!
