There are many ways masturbationcsn be good for one’s Health including helping one maintain a libido and know what kind of touch is pleasing.
It is bad when done instead of sexing one’s partner. It’s also bad for men if one masturbates very quickly and roughly. Quick masturbation can cause premature ejaculation . Rough masturbation can make it hard to cum with vaginal stimulation.

So masturbation is bad, porn is evil, when it comes to men. Frequent masturbation leads to pre ejaculation and ED, porn also twists men's perception of sex. As a man I do look at what you'd call soft porn, and I don't masturbate to completion but once a week or every other week, and I never masturbate to porn. So words to the wise guys lay off the frivolous masturbation, and ladies if your guy is spending too much time on the computer then you probably have a issue. Masturbation is not cheating unless it's replacing sex, even then it's kind of a stretch, at least you know they like some kind of sex, it's just now opening up a dialogue with them to include yourself into their masturbation, wether it be watching, being a extra hand or more, eventually you could probably work into actually having sex. But either way, excessive masturbation takes a toll on a man's body, not only will it cause the things I listed above it also lowers testosterone levels, kills libido, also the increased levels of dopamine in your brain make you pretty useless as a functional person. Guys give it a try, 7 days no masturbation, if you're watching hardcore porn stop, just 7 days, I do a lot of edging, just naked women and erotica, try it. Porn is the 21 centuries great plague. Please list your source. When I google " masturbation is good for men's health" I easily get (10 pages, 10 articles per page) 100 articles stating that daily masturbation is good for a mans health. www.askmen.com/dating/love_tip_500/500_negative-side-effects-of-masturbation.html it's easy to get the answer you want when you Google how it's good.Theres been countless studies revolving around men and masturbation, obviously not all studies are the same, but I used to rub one out every day, watch porn, the whole 9, I'm about 10 months into my new routine and I can tell you there is a difference. Fact peak testosterone levels of men is between 7-10 days after ejaculation. I'm not saying don't masturbate, just don't finish. Erection are harder and longer, I haven't had sex so I can't tell you how that is, but I can tell you I have more control over when I ejaculate.

What’s the point of masturbating without finishing? By your suggestions, presumably having piv sex but not finishing would lead to harder elections. Also could lead to blue balls— very painfully swollen testicles. Yes, that really happens. Why do that to yourself?

I know it's weird to hear, but it's called edging, it's a type of stamina training, I also do kegals and reverse kegals. I have never had blue balls or anything of the sort. It's perfectly healthy, I suffered from pre ejaculation, and soft erections due to my daily dose of porn and masturbation. I found a way not only to focus my sexual energy but also enhance my performance while going through this SM thing. I am in much more control of myself, my erections are no longer 70%, but closer to 95-100% and I feel better, less preoccupied with sex, am I going to have it, I'm so horny I look at porn or naked women 4-5 times a day. Now I carry on like a normal person, clear headed, confident my desire has increased, my metabolism and muscle gain has improved. And I have focused my energy into self improvement and am less concerned with chasing after my Wife which normally left me frustrated and un satisfied. You don't have to buy into it is just a suggestion and my opinion, it helped me, do a Google search, educate yourself a little and if you're a guy, it's only 7 days, what's the worst that could happen.

Edging is getting very trendy among guys in the internet era. They sit down, drink in the stimuli, teasing themselves. It makes the sensations last, and last. Gives a guy a good dopamine fix. Like so many things, it could be a bad thing or a good thing. For a guy with PE who does this with the help of his wife, it might help make him last longer.
Just go on chaturbate. A bunch of horny guys [and a few ladies] in sexless marriages trying to get their fix. Its very easy to become bi-erotic too.

It is simple. Refuses are being faithful and expect the refused to do the same. I don't see the confusion.

Well, I guess everyone in a sexless marriage uses some form of self stimulation. I wonder though if ones chances of a happy marriage are increased by not doing so. If I am serious about improving my sex life it might be worth aiming for sex and holding off masturbation. Why not use your sex drive to lead you to sex, after all that is what it is there for.

Never had any performance problems arise because of masturbation. As far is causing problems, I find it just the opposite - it's a great way to experiment with different ways to prolong and heighten the experience, gain better control and minimize the chances of finishing too quickly when with a partner. You need to know your body, if you want to maximize your partner's enjoyment.
Stopping masturbation for long periods of time, in order to better please your partner? I can't speak for others but for me it works just the opposite. After a "dry spell" I'm more likely to come to climax faster - so the only benefit for my partner would be realized if she wants it done and over with as quickly as possible.
Never had any issues with "rough masturbation" preventing climax either. Again, just the opposite: it tends to prolong the PIV experience and the for me, the longer it lasts the better the orgasm (but then again "rough" is a relative term and for some, excessive duration can cause discomfort, especially for the female).

That's exactly the point my friend, light edging sessions to stay functional, and holding out for actual sex. Focusing your time on self improvement, which should lead to a better partner, intern better sex life. Just a Theory thought, I'm in a SM, so I'm in the self Improvement stage.

Regular masturbation to fantasies of the kind of lovemaking I hoped to experience some Day was what kept me able to lubricate and enjoy postmenopausal sex when I had sex with Post sm lover. I hadn’t had any sex beside masturbation in 8 years.

I hadn’t had any sex beside masturbation in 8 years. So that's the weird thing, is it takes more for women to get going, so frequent masturbation and kegals is a good thing for the ladies, but in men not so much, the refractory time varies, but the general time to recover semen is about 48 hours. And 7 -10 days men hit peak testosterone levels and then they level off at about 14 days, so anything over 14 days is unnecessary. But ladies are the ones that should be masturbating a couple times a day.

If I cum multiple times in the same day, I might have the ball empty feeling for 4hrs. I flat out get sexually aggressive after 3 days without cumming. At 7 days I want to be a cave man and drag her back to the bed. 14 days is crazy to go without cumming. I might be wierd because I was one of the few guys still masterbating in boot camp. The stress for most guys is a libido killer.

However, my refuser needs lots of stimulation to get hard. I'm lucky if I get any every other week, but his doctor says his testosterone levels are normal...
