I have been here for the best part of a year yet I'm still rated as a ' New' member. I mostly read and don't post a lot, so if that status is based on the number of posts it is misleading. I feel there should be a status between New and Junior unless I have missed something. Thanks 😊

As soon as I posted this I suddenly became a junior member! Voila! Which also gives me my answer. You are a new member until you create 20 posts. I will leave the thread here as l do feel there should be another status for those who prefer fewer posts but are still here actively ' lurking'. Plus..if I remove it I will revert back to New again! 😊

FYI, this forum (provided by "FreeForums") has a modest amount of configurations that I can do as the administrator.
I can create different "member" categories, and assign a "minimum post count" to each. However, I can't assign a member to a category by "length of time of membership". Alas, it is a minor annoyance that we'll have to live with.
I'm glad you made it to Junior Member!
