I'm with EO, hanging out over here in the EU, so please let us know when you intend to make this international an we can all make this our own Brexit! You all enjoy though Florida though. And if you want a cheaper lodging option, look at VRBO or homeaway websites. You can get some pretty bad-ass houses well equipped for less than a hotel if you want to split costs with others. We rented one in Ft Lauderdale a bunch of years ago. It was 1000$ a day, but had about 15 bedrooms, was waterfront, had a pool and hot tub, looked like a castle a even had an original Monet painting displayed inside. It was an amazing place to stay and when we all split it up, it cost each family less than if we had stayed in hotels.

I've used it plenty of times and have gotten fantastic deals for lodging in what is actually a house, some really NICE NICE ones, with all the advantages that brings. He's right about the idea that there are houses that are large enough for big groups, have great amenities and are usually right by large attractions (beachfront, mountain area's, oceanfront, ect) and the cost's becomes VERY reasonable per person, especially with...uh....room sharing...

I hope that guy lost a bet.
Teal is a hard color to match. I would've gone with hot pink. And a feather boa.

Have not seen that guy, but I don't recognize the beach. Saw old men wearing less at a nude beach. Wondered if Marine Rescue would come by and try to save those "beached whales"!

I was thinking "flamingos", but that's perhaps a harder outfit to pull off gracefully vs fairy wings. Clearly this guy is more fashion-savvy than me!

Sounds like y'all will have a wonderful time! Florida really does have some fabulous beaches, and the gulf coast has the most remarkable sunsets! It would be great to hear your stories from this trip and see pictures as well.

Back to the original topic - going to St. Pete Beach the weekend of April 28-30. I have a private message list going where we are discussing where to stay. I have given some links to possible condos/houses to rent, mostly on or near the beach.
If anyone is thinking of going, please message me. I am trying to keep lodging costs to within $300 for the whole weekend. Might have some two bedroom/two bath condos. Also, would you be willing to share a room with another ILIASM member? Whether you would like to share a bedroom or share a bed with a special someone, it is best that those arrangements are made ahead of time. A lot have pullaway sofa beds, so if you don't mind that, let me know.
I hope to book something either at the end of this month or the beginning of March.
