Drinking my refreshing Zip-Fiz the morning after my long hike to see "waterfalls". I didn't believe there was enough flowing water in all of SoCal to actually have a waterfall. I was delighted to see it. Climbing down into the canyon I tweaked my knee. temp image hostYou can always use the ice from the drink on your leg or visa versa

Better then Corona Wait wait wait... I just realized, Why don't I own a bouncy house? !!! Seriously, that sounds like so much fun. Also, drink of the day in my house was a glass or two of of my white wine (a German Silvaner - Ortega mix)

Alright, I need reconditions! I am starting to adult and actually have alcohol in my house. So, I have a pathetic excuse of nothing for liquor. I have wine (red and white) and a little bit of rum. What's the best go to, "I always use this" liquors?! Or even, what's the best five or six things to have on hand for when I make actual friends???!!! (still pretty new in this city) Thanks in advance

That's easy. You have rum. You need vodka, tequila, triple sec and gin to go with it. And then a splash of coke and lime juice. Even if you decide against making Iced Tea, you now have the staples you need to make almost everything else (maybe add some bourbon to the list). Just to warn you, though, this can lead to your parties being shorter than you were expecting

None of that fancy shmancy stuff with fruit, olives, or little umbrellas for me. If I drink likker, it's neat, and either from the bottle, or from a shot glass. (same quantity in either case, very sparingly). Drinks du jour: Napoleon (brandy) Stolly (that is Stolichnaya Vodka to the uninitiated) or limonchello. Jägermeister if the food's been a bit heavy. But I drink very little, I barely like to have a buzz on. My feeling in the matter is: if you have a sharp knife to be cutting with, why make it blunt on purpose? P.S. Whiskey and Rum are nice in hot chocolate - but otherwise? not for me. currently enjoying a nice blend of 80% dragon pearl oolong and 20% labsang souchong after dinner I don't think I'd be able to become an alcoholic even if I wanted to .....

(still pretty new in this city) Thanks in advance My likker locker looks different from unmatched 's. Apart from brandy and vodka I am likely to own a bottle of Cointreau (heavenly oranges), Peach Snapps (fragrant .... peaches!), Gin (mostly for cooking wild pork and venison, to be honest), Kahlua (coffee! great on ice cream). Bottle of Jägermeister in the freezer -- that stuff needs to be taken COLD. But, as I said, I don't mix'em and I don't mix them with soft drinks. I once got to observe what a bunch of screwdrivers (vodka in orange juice) can do to a room full of teenagers - projectile vomiting was involved). A G&T can be a nice analgesic though, come to think of it. Not as hard on the gut as ibuprophen.
