I usually avoid gatherings of co-workers because I don't trust any of them so I wouldn't be around if there was laughing. As far as social situations, I'm not in them very often and usually with less than 8 people so not much gets missed. |

I suppose I would ask if I were interested. If it seems like an inside joke or something I wouldn't bother; they're usually not easily translated anyway. |

Lots of petty backstabbing bullshit. Got transferred into my current position involuntarily and my new coworkers saw me as a threat. Several anonymous complaints about things that never happened and things I never said. Been anti-social at work for about 3 years now. Need the job though. Can't lose the benefits and couldn't find anything that could match the pay without going back to school for another degree in a different field. |

I think about my SM every day multiple times a day. I assume that I will continue to think about it daily until it is resolved. As resolution is still about a year or two out, I can expect to be thinking about it for a while. I do think about other things, but usually when I intentionally force myself to through distractions of one kind or another. |

It was all consuming before I made the decision to leave. Now, there’s a lot of other crappy thoughts rolling around in my head. Not sure if that’s any better but at least I have a course of action I can focus on.

When I am busy, I concentrate on the task at hand. Alone in bed at night it bugs the crap out of me.
During the day I sort of try to my W's verbal diarrhea.
OK, so she is correct, I don't listen because she speaks in half sentences and to the dogs so I don't know if she is talking to me, the dogs or back to the TV.
When i had some hope of things getting better I listened, asked what the half sentences meant and tried to decifer if she was talking to me, the dogs or the TV. No more if she isn't clear. It was too much work. Sometimes she would talk to me from upstairs and me downstairs. Who can listen in that situation.
Yes, nights are the worst.

But so are the issues with my son. Of course I cannot think about my son without feeling really scared and alone, which makes me circle back around to my marriage! Really, though, I OBSESSED with my dreams about the future. And my PLANS and how to achieve them. That is truly what consumes me day and night. And he is not in those thoughts. |
