Years ago when this program was fairly new I used to watch it. But gradually over the years it became more and more liberal and to me at least, less and less concerned with the greater good and more concerned with progressive and liberal talking points. Often they seemed to take a decidedly anti-American view of events. So i haven't watched it in decades. My guess is that if not for PBS Democracy Now would have disappeared long ago.

I often wonder about that. It sounds cruel but plausible.
I watch PBS, Frontline, The Young Turks and all of the most popular news just to hear each side but not Alex Jones. I used to watch RTV but quit. One time we had 1 hour of news mixed of Canada, Mexico, BBC, Germany, China, Al Jazeera English, and some pro Muslim states that were anti-Israel.
I saw how heavy handed the local law enforcement were o Amy Goodman when she covered the Keystone pipeline protest across an Indian Reservation. Yes Democracy Now is liberal but some of their news gives balance or some things to think about from the only 6 main sources in the USA.
The Gettysburg Address was a good idea: "That government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth." In my opinion we have a government by the corporations, for the corporations and not as stated as above. It was almost comical how each country had a different slant on what happened.
Anyway, there is more news about Covid-19 source.

Read the NYTimes and the Washington post. Maybe the Wall Street Journal if you must. Case closed!

Now I'm worried. Went by my son's to borrow a grease gun. Noticed he was building something, and drilling holes in the ground to set posts. Turns out it will be a pig pen. He and his neighbor are buying 2 surplus pigs that were originally headed to Swift, but Swift isn't buying pigs for future pork products just now. My son is expecting a meat shortage so he going to grow his own. This ought to be good......
EDIT UPDATE: Returned the grease gun. Took a look at the finished "pork pen". There are 4 piglets in there. My son says he got 2 piglets for just a couple dollars more than just getting 1, the neighbor also bought 2. So my youngest is now an auto mechanic/ pig farmer.
