Great to hear many of our same problems, emotions, and circumstances , posted in other places! The down side is wondering what we will go through starting over and dealing with meeting a refuser that wants to put on their fake masks and lure us in. Time , knowledge, counceling, experience, advice, and training will hopefully keep us from making the same mistakes?

I found the article to be a repudiation of the Guardian article that inspired this one (see the link in beginning of the article). In the "How to Cope" piece the author presented the standard worn-out tripe of useless advise. In this piece the respondents highlighted that all the talks, the therapy, the date nights, the bacon scented candles do not provide any true benefit other than an "I Tried" merit badge. To me these articles are amusing in the way that some DIY articles are written by someone who cannot differentiate between a hammer and a screwdriver.

I agree. Those 6 stories could have been lifted straight out of EP ILIASM or here, even though they were responses to a sort of a scented candles article preceeding.

Yes - I felt that at least people were responding back to the original article and reporting the real-life results of the bacon scented candle strategy.
