It's Tybee Island. It was about 67 when i took that picture, and fairly deserted. But it was beautiful!

I drank too much but bit my tongue and didn't let loose the barrage of complaints I have against him. In truth I wanted to have his family remember me as classy lady who took the high road and left without a backward glance.

woohoo! That is exciting as heck, tamara68. For me, it was a bit overwhelming at first - I didn't take lessons really until I was 25 and I felt like all other people were better qualified to be drivers. Don't let "thoughts" stand in your way. Everyone starts as a beginner. I hope you have a good teacher. I know you will do well!

Sitting in a hospital room while my DW sleeps and recovers from post-surgery pneumonia after more reconstruction surgery. Fortunately they treated the pneumonia aggressively, and while she still technically has pneumonia, she is improving steadily. Back to the hotel tonight, one more appointment tomorrow, then fly home Thursday.

Not like I've cared much for Christmas for many years, but spending it in a hospital room with my DW, 1,700 miles from any friends or family, was still a crap way to spend the day. We've been back at the hospital since Christmas Eve.
