January 1st really does end one chapter of my life and starts another. No, not divorce, but I will be free of a commitment that I have been bound to for the last three years. My intention is to get as much alcohol into my system as I can. So, there may be some drunk postings on my part and there may be some drunk confrontation with the Mrs. I very rarely drink period. In my younger days it was a fairly frequent occurrence - but not in some years. I will have to pick some form of drink that I have never had before and will not care about having again as I will never be able to drink it again once I have hit the upchuck stage. Any suggestions? The short list of what is off the table: Slo gin fizz Genesee Cream Ale MD 20 20 Jager

Drunk texting....snowman12345 that will be fun to see. You are generally a man of few words. I'm not a big drinker myself but I would definitely stay away from the liqueurs or kalua/tia maria beverages.

My recommendation is to keep a good buzz going for a few hours, but don't over do it. Celebrate at home or a friends house, but if you must go out let Uber take the wheel. Don't want to start the new year with a major hang-over and serious regrets. Be safe!

I live in walking distance from my favorite watering hole. So l am not worried about getting there and back. I want to be out in public because there is a number of people who having given me a belly full of grief need to be brought down a peg or six.

Have you ever tried chocolate cake? - 1 part Frangelica (hazelnut liquor) - 1 part Vodka - Sugar around the rim - Lemon slice Drink the Frangelica and vodka getting the sugar with it. Then bite the lemon. I swear to God that it tastes exactly like chocolate cake. When a buddy of mine deployed to Iraq in 2005 I flew to Arizona to send him off. I stopped counting at shot 20. I then spent the next day throwing up on the graves of the bad guys in Tombstone (I got them all). Great drink but i would try to stop before 20.

His real name wwasn't that of course, but every time he started drinking he started buying drinks llikehe was Bill Gates.
