I'm feeling kind of lost without EP. I miss my friends, the different conversations. It was my solace. It was one of the few places where I could truly be myself.
EP is gonna be missed.

It is weird to not be able to go there. I wasn't as active near the end, but still liked to go there and read. I am glad to have this new forum, it helps. EP will be missed.

I have a "EP" bookmark on my browser toolbar. It has been a routine for SO LONG that when I sit down at my computer, I click it and catch up on posts, msgs, and notifications there.
I still find myself doing that!

Maybe it was a good thing that I had lots of activities planned, literally from Thursday night through all of Monday.
Thursday afternoon, I was on EP posting and crying with everybody else. But I had to go to an activity Thursday night (and I couldn't blow it off, since I started that group.) From now through all of Monday, I'm road-tripping. I'm currently at a friend's house. (She had to go out somewhere; that's why I'm here in the forum right now.)
So on Tuesday, it will be back to my normal world....without EP.
I start my new job on May 4, so I will have some down time.

I have a close non-ILIASM friend and we've made arrangements to keep in touch. It seems a little too close and personal now. I don't feel an attraction to him but I don't want to lose his friendship. EP was a nice buffer. We are both looking forward to another EP-like site.

I still find myself doing that! I've got the icons on my phone which take me to my favorite groups. That way I can read posts and all the comments. I find it comforting to have it there, so I'm glad I did not delete my profile.

What's bugging me when I log into EP after "the end," is that I have 3 notifications, but I can't see them. Probably something to do with the exchange I had in which I was slandered as a slut.

I am almost embarrassed to admit how much I miss EP. I'm not a social media guy, and it was a wonder I joined in the first place. It was the anonymity that drew me in, but it was just a great place to hang out. Like many, I found EP while googling answers for my sexless marriage. Once there, I found I really enjoyed posting on a variety of topics. Altogether, I think I was there 7 years. I was travelling this past weekend, and when I came into work this past Monday it was the first Monday in many years with no EP. I guess I sound like a slacker, but having a desk job, I could multitask and do EP while I was working.
I grew up, and still live in a rural area. I never had a corner bar where everyone knows your name. I felt that way about EP. I miss sharing a table with my friends.

TMD, being called a slut is not slander, it is a badge of honor aknowledging that you embrace your sexuality. Being called a righteous prude is a slander. It is almost humorous in this day and age that the small minded fools still try to slut shame us for our sexual activity. I believe they are the ones who cannot accept their own sexual urges or the lack thereof.

@jasonl -- yeah, I was being sarcastic. I don't feel it necessary to defend my choice to outsource, however the woman who called me a slut was simply trying to ruffle feathers and I was in mood to debate with her.
Still chuffed that I didn't get the last word. ;-)
