That was fun. Pity that some who wanted to, could not make it.

I was driving home from my workshop to the flat after shopping and I came across
a large flock of migrating spoonbills on the shore, poking around in the receding
tide. Excitement! got the camera out and took a few pictures. Apparently those guys
come through here once a year.

If anyone wants to add me on skype, by the way, my handle is up-thread. I didn't
figure out how to add people in to contacts from the conference call.

((I would've loved to attend the meet-up, but ... that many miles just for a weekend
is asking a bit much, besides I have a load of things happening that I can't abandon
right now)).
