I got tags and insurance done today and it is snowing. Arg
I stopped by the BMW dealership to get riding boots. I walked out with sidi all road gortex. They feel like a nice all around boot.
Oh and don't stop by a BMW dealership of you are not willing to pry your self off of the bikes. They had an imiculate R1200C with only 20k miles. It is the bike that James Bond ( Pierce brosnan) rode in Tomorrow Never Dies, but this one was black.

We had a nice sunny day Sunday. My son and I rode bikes down the Hood Canal on 101 for 125 round trip miles. It was awesome. Curvy and fast all along the water with lunch at out turn around point, Hoodsport. Lots of bikes out. Only bad was that my wife wouldn't go (not a fan of riding) and I get jealous seeing other women riding and driving with their friends.

The weather in my portion of NC has been less than agreeable for riding. Lots and lots of rain with the occasional warm day now and then. It was cool out today but I had to get some time in or I was going to go ape. So I rode for about an hour.

It has been nice an warm for a day or 2 or cold. A few counties over had a frost warning Monday night. I think my next bike will be a gold wing. Something with a faring/wind protection that I can ride all day on without my anatomy going numb. I think the Blast is going to get a custom Sargent's saddle this summer.

We pick ours up from being tuned up tonight. Excited!!! My husband keeps threatening to sell it because we could use the money to finish the basement but I say we enjoy it as long as we can -rather be out riding than in a basement anyway!! I want to get my own license but I don't see getting another bike a priority for us right now. I think it'd be fun and something we'd do all summer though so will seriously revisit that idea again. Not Harley riders but enjoy it. Have fun, be safe. 😊 offering you all the wave via Sweets- the coolest bulldog ever.

Your bike looks so much like my 2012 Harley Switchback they could almost pass for twins.

My baby... I can't wait until the house is on the market so I will have time to take it out more. I missed most of the spring riding season. I guess the good part is that in Texas you can ride pretty much all year round. Literally, today, I was supposed to fly to Orlando and meet a buddy who was trailering our bikes to a conference. We were going to spend 5 days riding back. We've done a number of these trips over the years and they all rock! But with getting the house ready for sale, there is no way I could make it. Once the divorce is over, though, I will need to have something to fill in the weekends I don't have the kids. I will be extending my usual range with some overnights I think.

worksforme2 - it's no Harley, but we have fun with it. We do love the Harley's and admire them from afar. The V-star is a solid bike, that's for sure. I don't get to sit on a comfy couch-like seat with arm rests, etc., but that's half the fun of it for me. I was going to add more here but stopped -- I'll just say we love the bike. Okay, okay --- I will just add I love it when he reaches back and gives my calf a love-squeeze as we cruise down the road. If you get a lady on that bike, do that - she will love it.

My old one had flames on it. Unfortunately, it did not survive a 70MPH speed differential collision with a Tahoe. Fortunately, I was no longer on said bike.

I take it the rider who was on it did not survive. That's a bike for a single guy, for sure - do women actually get on the back when there is no backrest? Not this one! Scary!!

Yep, that means you have to keep your hands around his waist. And no distracting him.
