I'm curious to know if you have sex dreams? I never have them, ever. I dream about concerts, vacations, work, kids, etc... never sex. You'd think with all the time I spend checking out hot women at the grocery store, watching porn, or ogling my wife that I'd get a sex dream now and then. I think I'm being cheated, somehow.

Oh, yeah. The cast of characters leaves me wondering at times - like, where'd that come from... I haven't seen her in 15 years. It makes one wonder what the conscious mind is overlooking.
And I awake hoping I didn't talk in my sleep!

The near SM killed my sex dreams. But it might have also been a symptom of my depression

I have them all the time. Usually they involve someone from my office at a higher level than I am. Most of the time, all I remember is being naked but wrapped up in a sheet. I think this is what I used to call afterglow.
Anyway, whoever my partner de la nuit is, they always accuse me of using them to get ahead. So I think my sex dreams actually represent my fear of failure.

I think you have to stop masturbating for a few days, maybe even a week, and then they are much more likely to come. So I read somewhere - never tried it personally...

I had sex dreams when I was an inexperienced virgin, sex dreams while I was dating and having hot sex, sex dreams when I was in a SM, and sex dreams now that I'm in a hot post SM relationship. I like sex.

Who doesn't love a good sex dream? If I had them regularly, I think I could almost (ALMOST) deal with a sm.
The last one I had was ......uh...... goooooooood. The weird thing about it was that I was with my ex brother-in-law who I haven't seen in at least 15 years! I always thought he was super attractive. One time, I remember him telling me at a family BBQ (at my ex's parent's house) that I was with the wrong brother. I never thought this was true, but, he was by far the best looking of the bunch.
In this dream, we were in a tiny little bento-box style movie theatre. We were the only people in the audience - we were also the only people on the movies screen, of some porno that was playing.
When I woke up from that dream (just about a month ago), i reallllly wanted to call him, but of course I didn't. I did call my ex though, and asked what was going on with his brother, lol.
Sigh..... Interestingly enough, the last time I saw him was in Woodinville -
I wish there was a way to ignite this type of dream in our psyche at night, before we drift off to dream land. Hmmmm, I wonder if this is possible.....

Oh unmatched, I'm a huge devotee of lucid dreaming! Thanks for mentioning it

All the time! At least two a week that I remember. I orgasm in my sleep probably once or twice a month, it is a pretty great way to wake up in the middle of my body in full swing.... But I am weird.
And they are graphic, amazingly graphic *sigh* then they fade and all I have is small snapshots of what they were imprinted in my memory as a reminder of what my body wants.

Since I stopped drinking myself into a stupor before bed, my libido as well as the dreams have returned...with a vengeance!
A couple of folks mentioned lucid dreaming. I used to be able to do that on demand. It really is something that you can train yourself to do and can be a hell of a lot of fun. I fell out of the habit a number of years ago, but really need to work on that again.
Last weekend, I bought a nice new memory foam mattress with an adjustable base. I am SO looking forward to moving into the new place and taking that for a ride. I think I was almost nodding off. I'm glad that I didn't since my thoughts had just been how much fun the adjustable bed would would be with someone else there. That certainly would not do, having a wet dream at the mattress store.
