Hi, shamwow. The "Forum Benefactor" title is given to people who literally pay money to FreeForums to keep ILIASM ad-free. No question, baza contributes a lot of value to the members here, and we appreciate his participation.

Plus, I am a notorious cheapskate and have not contributed a red cent to the site.

He's so popular that he draws crowds of people from pathetic SMs in. baza is good for the membership. ;-)

Plus, I am a notorious cheapskate and have not contributed a red cent to the site. baza contributes his sense... not his cents! ModHatter had it right: "Forum Benefactor" and "Forum Supporter" are bestowed upon those who contribute financially. The distinct titles are given to monthly subscribers and ad-hoc contributors, respectively. If anyone would like to become a contributor to keep this forum ad-free, please scroll to the bottom of any page and click "Click here to remove banner ads from this forum.". Thanks!

By the way, I realize this thread is light-hearted (and will let it stand), but it is an opportunity for me to remind everyone that forum policy states that matters for Admin or the Moderators should either be: - PM'ed to Admin, or all or any subset of the moderators, OR
- "Flagged" using the "Report Post" item in the "gear" menu of the disconcerting post.
Flagging the Admin (using "@Admin" in the post) is NOT an effective way to get my attention. Using "@administrator" -- which shamwow did -- is worse, as it is literally nobody. Starting threads to propose moderation action or discuss moderation decisions is expressly disallowed. (And suggesting that the staff is "committing an injustice" is pretty close...) Threads that are earnestly seeking input on general improvements to the forum are allowed, and should be posted in the "Welcome" board.
