Let us recap. We are scheduled to leave om March 29th unless we have a deal. Parliament voted against the deal. They then voted against leaving on March 29th. They only people who can extend the deadline are the EU, not Parliament. Paliament want another deal, The EU say there is no other deal and will not negotiate another one. This deal took 2 years to cobble together, Parliament want another one to be ready in 10 days. So, our Parliament rejected a negotiated deal and have nothing to replace it. They voted not to leave on March 29th,but the EU refused the extension. We are offered another referendum, which will take months to organise and again, we crash out in 10 days. We have been right royally screwed over. Now, who wants their bikes cleaned and oiled for a sleeping place in their garage? My recommendation is for the Brits to invade and drive the bureaucrats in Belgium into the sea. You could probably get that done by the 29th.

This is a bit of a sidebar but according to Wikepedia, of eligible voters in the UK, 69% actually exercised their right to vote in the general election. (2017 figures) In regard to the Brexit referendum it was something like 72%
Now it could be said (like it is in my jurisdiction - Australia) that "none of the bastards are worth voting for" and that may well be true, however, if you don't vote, then by default you have supported the side that wins.
It's a lot like being in an ILIASM shithole. You are confronted with two choices. One choice is pretty bad. The other choice is really bad
And if you don't/can't make a choice, then someone else will make it for you....and they'll be choosing on a basis of what's good for them, not you.

I just remembered, I have a 4 ft by 7 ft and 2 ft high place under the stairs by the cat litter box anyone is welcome to use. I will warn you cat litter dust, spider webs and some dirty old cat toys probably will have to be removed first.
Brexit, I don't know much except some UK people want to end the automatic immigration from other EU and non EU countries.
Speaking of bike oiling, I assume you are talking chain cleaning and lubing. I have a gallon of used automatic transmission fluid that works well for riding in wet weather. I am out of wax based chain lube.

Oil based chain lube for wet weather and wax based lube for dry weather. Road dirt sticks to oil lube and not as much dirt sticks to wax based lube. You have to clean a chain more often with oil lube but I have gallons of used automatic transmission oil so it is zero cost. Just a couple of ounces of wax lube is $4 or $5. I like low cost, so I just oil my chains on my 8 bikes and wipe off the excess oil. Problem sort of solves. FYI, I just got an electric pedal assist bike so that is 9 bikes, all used and cheap except for the e-bike but still only $600 (special warehouse deal where I bought super bargains before). Yea, it is entry level but I needed to start somewhere. I hope I don't have to sleep in the garage myself. The missus wasn't happy when the UPS guy made the delivery. Maybe I could visit petrushka. I remember his talking about his solar array and how much electricity it produced.
Solar array+ an e-bike=perfect match. Maybe I need a small solar panel kit to charge my e-bike battery?

Trump may be as mad as a box of frogs, but at least he does stuff. Our lot just run around in circles and wave their hands about, hoping it makes them look busy and porposeful

Handy, you have 9 bikes? How many bikes does someone need? The correct answer is one more.

always one more bike. Well not always one more. Just if the bike is a new design that I didn't have. The latest bike is my only electric assist. I didn't want to buy a Toyota Prius so I bought the e-bike. $700 for the bike and over $20K for the car. The bike won due to its low price and I didn't have to sleep in the garage.

Tomorrow we vote on a new government. Polls show a hung parliament, so another 5 years of Brexit and cunning political wheezes. Sigh, those bike sheds are beginning to sound lovely. As long as there is no wi fi or tv or newspapers or anything that has political debate

Anyway, I understand much fun can be had behind bike sheds. Just you know, what I’ve heard.

Things are going really nut shaped over here.

I grew tired of hearing political figures lie and behave badly... Around here, it seems like never ending bad political theater!! Each side tries to out do the other in creating drama, and then blaming their opponents for the mess they caused!
This problem has now been solved!! I eliminated the politicians! Yep, all those creatures were kicked out of my house! Occasionally, someone will mention that they are still babbling away. I don't know, because they have been tuned out. Every time they come on TV, they are immediately muted. If they don't disappear quickly, the channel is changed. Most of the time, I watch channels that do NOT feature political material. I get the news from the internet. The best part is that I can select which stories to hear and ignore the rest. The political stuff gets skipped.
After doing this for several months, it is a relief not to have all that garbage in my head! After disconnecting from it, I realized how much it had been affecting me. I feel noticeably better now! It was a good choice!
