The latest on aspirin as a preventive measure is don't do it unless there is a medical reason. I suppose the 2 aspirin thing could be bad advise if there is internal bleeding.
I never stayed at a Holiday Inn (TV commercial reference) and I do not profess to be very knowledgeable about medical advice. Just passing along what was said to me.

You may wish to consider a full work-up. If it was indeed a "mini," then consider yourself warned that a "maxi" may be lurking.

Do yourself a favor and shell out for a coronary artery calcification scan. Insurance won't cover it. Will help you assess your risk for a catastrophic event.

So far nothing really bad was found. Maybe the evaluation results next week will com up with something.
So far no doctor calls.
I have had some similar symptoms since I was a teenager and just ignored the symptoms in the past. Now that I am a couple of years older I thought it was time to check out things with my primary care doctor.

It is always best to review any anomalies with your doctor. They may be nothing or they may establish a pattern.
As an aside, this week I had a 6 month review. I have lost weight, cholestoral is within range, and metabolic panel is normal. These are good things to know. What astounds me are friends that only go to the doctor if there is a problem.
On a humorous note the NP was asking the standard set of questions about lifestyle. Do you smoke, do you drink, etc. Now this NP knows about my SM. So a question is "Does your wife ever strike, slap, hit or thrrTen you with violence?" I laughed and she said she had to ask. I asked if spankings count. The NP replied "No, spankings and floggers do not count since that is fun." OK, TMI. The next question was "Has your wife ever raped you or forced you to have sex?" Now I understand this is a serious issue but damn I could not stop laughing. The NP said the most common response from men and women "Is where do I sign up?" So when you go to the doctor establish a rapport and have some fun.

My pre doctor assessment was done by a registered nurse. She asked questions about activities, what I ate and so on. Then the depression / sadness about social contacts questions came next. I just volunteered that my W and I have little in common, that she mover out of the bedroom many years ago, that I am a saver and my W is a spender. The nurse asked if I had friends I talked with about some of my frustrations and what I did to try and have some quality connections with friends.
The NP said the most common response from men and women "Is where do I sign up? " #metoo# Yes, where do I sign up?
My problem is I am generally too serious. I will take some advice and try to have more fun or see the odd humor in more things.

Many years ago I had a twisted testicle. It was the worst pain I ever knew. When we got to the hospital the surgeon asked me how it happened. I told him, turning over in bed. He sighed, asked my wife to leave and sat on the bed. "okay, now she's out of earshot, what really happened?" He really could not believe me with the turn over, the truth.

Not medical advice but more about what a person might do in the coming weeks as some of the stay at home advice abates. This highway is with in a couple hours drive (at the beginning) but it takes a day to make the loop to get back home. The road is still snow blocked but I think it will open soon. Here is an old video from 2017 and yes it typically does not opens until May 25 to June 6.
