It’s unlikely that everyone on this site is in a relationship or married to someone with NPD (narcissistic personality disorder). That said narcissism is likely to be on a spectrum. My ex didn’t have NPD in my opinion but displayed an array of narcissistic traits.
The term “reset sex” we often use on this forum may well be in many cases, the narcissistic individual using sex to achieve control and compliance. It’s such a massively under covered subject because unquestionably this is domestic abuse. In my country (the UK) it would never ever be prosecuted as such because of the stigma attached to the idea that a person always has the right to say no.
