There may be others out their who are, or will be ,in the same boat as I am. I was covered under my ex's health insurance, but I had none after the divorce. I now pay out of pocket.
My only Rx is very high priced, and needs filling every 180 days. My ex's employer ( a very large world wide company), has its own pharmacy, so I assumed the $$ prices were fair and compatible.
I stayed with it for more than a year, the other day it was refill time ,so I decided to shop around. My neighborhood pharmacies where 75% LESS!! ( I'm still kicking myself) Prices varied considerably.
The friendly pharmacist at my local grocery store ( Publix) told me to go online to Good Rx and get free ( on line) coupons. Another 80% savings!!
I'm not endorsing anything. Just wanted to pass along useful information.
Anyone else use it? Have any problems?
My cost went from $900.00 to $ 50.00! ( 4 times a year)

I just looked up 6 medications on GoodRX.com. One new prescription (30 pills for 30 days) cost $140 at Walmart with my insurance but goes to $20 with a GoodRx coupon I can print at home. My local Walmart pharmacy tech told me about GoodRx a year ago. I have an all inclusive medical and prescription plan and all of my prescriptions are sent to me through the mail at no cost for the "tire 1" drugs so I never used GoodRx before. With my recent surgery, I now have a couple of expensive drugs. So far I just paid the co-pay but I am looking into GoodRx. According to the GoodRx coupon list, I see a coupon that is usable at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Costco and popular grocery-pharmacy stores. Not all locations but enough to drive locally and pick up the drugs.
Also, for any military or former military with a DD214 honorable discharge paper, some Veteran Administration (VA) Locations will admit you to the VA medical benefit plans where several drugs are $11 a month. One guy I know gets a monthly $1,500 injection and only pays $11 at the VA. All of his other medical stuff goes through Medicare.
Yes it takes paperwork and time and red tape to apply at the VA, so apply early. Often you will be denied at first but sometimes the VA has openings and if you hit the VA at the right time you get in. I got in on the most restrictive level (no military connected problems and not poor). When I applied I had zero insurance and was looking at $700 to $1,200 a month for a policy that had so many exemptions it almost was like having no insurance except accident coverage. I do co-pays to the VA but they are affordable. The VA for me is only for a few things that can be scheduled 3 to 6 months in advance and have a high cost because the VA co-pays are very reasonable.
Me getting to keep $28 a month for my first few military pay months is finally paying off. Military pay was $68 a month but I was supporting my mother at the time so I had to send (deducted from my pay envelope) home $40 every month. We got paid in cash and I still have my first few military pay dollars, new un-circulated money. At the time a pint of generic-plain ice cream was twenty five cents. Now my military dollars won't buy as much as they did back then.

Luckily all medicines are free here in the UK once you are over 60. I can even get viagra free, but only 4 pills a month as this is considered normal sex life. But they are pointless

I read that several men get the highest dose of Viagra available, cut the pills in 1/2 or 1/3's and stretch out quanity they buy.
Four times a month would be a 1,000 improvement for some men and women on ILIASM, if only it would happen in real life. But like you say Lessinghan, even as I was thinking, "fat chance" slang for it is 99.9% not going to happen.
OTH I read some women's post where the H had ED issues, the H used the blue pills to masturbate.

I had about 8 unused boxes before I gave up adding to the pile. Ended up throwing them away and halting the prescription
