Yay.
Our neighbour is away for the weekend and asked if we minded feeding her cat. My eife agreed. This morning my wife is too poorly to do it so I get to knock myself out.
Hardly the free pussy play with the neighbout one dreams of. But hey ho, off I go.

There is no such thing as "free pussy". A man will either "pay it forward" (a pro) or he will make installment payments (Spouse, FWB, SO ). One way or another if you are a male you will be paying.
Probably going to get a big ration of grief on this...….

Sometimes, things get mis-heard. Back in the day when my missus and I were looking to buy a house, she revealed that she "liked a nice colorful garden". I couldn't give a shit about gardens, but was quite agreeable to a garden being a pre-requisite in our house hunt. I interpreted her desire for "a nice garden" as meaning she was a keen gardner who found joy in getting her hands dirty and nurturing assorted plants etc etc. My interpretation of what she meant turned out to be completely erroneous. The real interpretation was - "I like a nice colorful garden but I have no interest in doing anything toward creating or maintaining said garden". A bit like "I like a nice clean house" That actually meant "I like a clean house, but I'm not overly interested in doing anything to bring this about". Perhaps you suffer from mis-hearing your missus' utterances too Brother @lessinham . Nominally here she says "I'll get your cat fed, thus putting me in a good light as being a helpful neighbour" Whereas what she meant was "I'll hive off the responsibility of feeding the moggy to lessingham , but I'll take the kudos of being a helpful neighbour". |
