What are some people doing this Memorial-day long week-end? Me? Mowing grass and a little flower planting. I might mow grass Monday if the rain stops. What I won't be doing is eating crunchy food. My front bridge broke today and dentist not available until Tuesday. How do those meth addicts live without front teeth? |

I have a little cabin I haven’t been to in over a year. I’m going out to clean and debug it. Who else in this group avoids time alone with spouse at all costs? I have strong armed kids to come out too so as not to be alone with said refusing spouse. The last time we were out at that cabin together alone - maybe 3 yrs ago I made a pretty savy but strong move for sex and was flatly denied in a most Awkward and frustrating fashion. Great memories.

What are some people doing this Memorial-day long week-end? Me? Mowing grass and a little flower planting. We have a holiday weekend in the U.K. too. It has been the wettest May since the 1870’s so my lawn is a disgrace and I’m guessing that it will take a few passes to get it back under control. At last the sun is making an appearance Sunday-Tuesday, so I am making the most of it and going sailing. It is nearly two years since the last opportunity and I am beyond excited to be back out on the sea. |

Just finished repairs to a grandson's bike. His mom backed over it and bent about 6 different things. It turned out to be a 2 man job so their other grandpa came over and we bent most every thing back in to workable shape. Everything except the rear wheel. Wo worked on it but didn't do much good. But it is ridable again.
Now I am off to look for drawing supplies for the other grandson who has a birthday in just a few days.

Worksforme2 Go to Youtube and look at the two videos below. Major rim straightening with all spokes loosened 6 to 8 turns . After the big bends are reduced. Some spokes will tighten and some will loosen. You want the spokes loose to determine which way you need to bend the rim. After the rim is relatively straight, THEN straighten the wheel more by adjusting the spoke tension. YES, it takes a long time. Bikemanforu has a lot of practical low tech bike repair videos "Truing A Wheel" Bikemanforu Show Episode 7 season 1 (the major bending starts around 4:00)

Searching for prior year (2018 and 2019) notice s of assessment from the CRA (Canadian Revenue agency) to support a small mortgage on our new place. After searching fruitlessly for a couple hours (found 1) i found out I can log in to the CRA website and download it from there) Forehead slap. LOL

Yesterday a few people we know from the kink community, came over to us to use our garden for a latex photo shoot. Fun to watch two women dressed in latex bodysuits.
Great to see people around again in the first place, and something like this especially.
