Just to be clear, I can be embarrassed by my city or county and still love it enough to get involved in actually making it better.
I dearly love 💜 my country.
And the Trump fans who were trying to run the Biden crew and bus off the road. Understand they are not real Republicans!!!!!
The pyromanic business pilfering are not Democrats they are just opportunistic thugs who come out in the cover of night. Those types don't vote.

Lol, I am first in line for your basement! I am embarrassed to call myself an American.💔 I have a pretty good English accent so if I travel I will be using it! But you'll need a British passport to go with the accent, Jerri! (Or New Zealand, Australian or Canadian). Ironic that I have one of those and no intention to ever climb into an airplane again. I'd lend it to you but I expect you look nothing like I do {grins}.
Well, I think we live in one of the better places to live in. No reason to leave.

This thread might look political but I see it as an anxiety relief valve. I hope everyone's anxiety is going down. The stock market didn't crash so maybe things will be calmer in the future. www.finviz.com/ That checker-board thing on the right side, green is good! |

For some reason, that's supposedly unfair this time even though every election since the pony express had absentee ballots. Just cuz there's more of them, yer bitchin'? Given the highway protests of the fans of our white house occupant, blocking traffic impeding opponent vehicles... it's obvious there's a taste for civil disobedience in the name of political coercion. I'd urge democracy supporters to let dust settle and react to nothing. Fury needs fuel. Be dull and boring. A peaceful transition should be quiet and humdrum. Everyone who wants to mix it up? Let 'em and stand back. When the winners run out of opponents. They'll get bored and go home. I give it a week or two. |

I have heard/read that the original post on 4chan that sparked the whole conspiracy theory off, was, in fact, a satirical piss-take so out-there that nobody could possibly take it seriously. If that is in fact the case, then they seriously miscalculated the sense of humour (lack of) and intelligence of the folk hanging out there.
I just saw a picture in The Guardian of a guy with a black bandana, body armor and toting a rifle, waiting for election results in a crowd ... Just how far gone are these people? That is NOT, NOT, NOT how you do democracy except in certain third world or totalitarian countries. Up until now.
My nephew is seriously considering coming back over here.
