Jerri, nothing changed within ILIASM forum. What is different is the old URL is out dated so just use the newer URL iliasm.freeforums.net/forum |

I have no idea what will happen in the future. As I see it NOW, just the web address wording changed from something that was old to an address sequence that is newer but not really new. I access ILIASM with different computers and one computer gives me an error. The first computer has the older general ILIASM URL and I used to get error messages until I changed the new URL in my favorite folder. My other computer has the sign-in page URL and that has always worked.
The problem is if someone has the old URL saved in their favorite files and they click on the old URL, they will get the error message. But if they read the error message, it has the URL that works so it comes down to reading the error message and following the directions. I know people sometimes do not read the whole error message. Not reading the whole error message is where there will be a problem for some people.

We live in the instant fix universe. Lloyd George, look him up, was asked to give a quick one minute reply for radio. " how can I reply in a minute when it takes30 minutes to state the question!" Sexless marriage fixes are long hard and deeply challenging. It takes a lot of work to get to the tipping point.

Yeah, okay. Glad I'm not the only one having problems logging in.
It does seem the forum is dying.
Anybody ever consider making us a subgroup of the sexless marriage reddit group? That thing is quite active. It has a different vibe than this group-it seems like peopke are less thoughtful and ruder-but I think it's at least free to set up a subreddit, isn't it?

The website will still be here if the host gets paid. I got "please donate" request a couple of months ago. Just like love, everything depends on finance to a degree. we probably all received that same notice. I sent a donation of $50 in because I appreciate what this site is all about. I doubt another site as good as this one exists elsewhere. Thanks for your kind donation! To clarify, who/where did you send the money to, though? Proboards? Free forums? (not even sure the difference there) or to go daddy? I think what is needed is to pay the fee to hang on to the domain name, right? Or not? Anyway, this goes back to a question I had a few months ago which is about who is actually in charge of the site. It seems like the initiators have drifted away. Hence our problems. I chatted on the phone about 4 years ago with Dan who was involved as an admin I guess? But he diesnt seem to be around much lately. Maybe we should consider reaching out to the sexless marriage people at reddit and migrating our throng over there. Like I said, that group is very active, though it's kind of different. |

I sent my contribution to Proboards since no information was available specific to funding ILIASM. I figure supporting Proboards would keep this site accessible. To send money tp Proboards when you logon you will see a subheading called Help. left click, Then you will get a bunch of headings...look under Administrators/Moderators, left click.. then go to Managing Members Under Managing Members scroll down to Support and you will find Support Forum....Left click...more subheadings appear..look for Proboard Developement, left click...scroll toward the bottom and see Contributions subheading...Hope this helps... |

I’ve reached out to Admin offline to see if he’s still above ground. We have contingency measures in case that happens, but until then he is the only admin. I last heard from him 2 months ago. It seems the annual fee to Proboards did not get paid for the vanity domain name attachment, so the board has reverted to the original freeforums.net URL. For the sake of everyone who has bookmarked threads, we do want to get that fixed. One way or another, we’ll get this sorted out and get some new moderators setup, since the originals have ridden off into the sunset.
