iliasm.org comes up with a blurb that says we are expired. Oops sorry that domain name has expired and then it gives alternatives. If ya don't read the fine print you would think the forum is gone altogether. Any way to get our old domain address back? There is only one guest listed on line at the moment. It will be interesting to see how many people actually log on in a couple of days. I am really afraid that we lose ground if we don't get it back? Thoughts? |

This site is in serious - probably terminal - decline.
There a very few new members, there are very few new stories.
There was a rush of new members back in March 2016 (mainly old members of the ILIASM group on the Experience Project) but every March since then has shown big declines in new members joining in March 2016,2017,2018, 2019, 2020 and March 2021 hardly made double figures.
There's only 1,749 members now, it's hard to gauge how many of them are "active" but I would doubt that there are currently any more than 100.
This group is just fading away.
I expect that one of these days I'll go to log on and there'll be nothing there, and that'll be a sad day.

This is my fear too. I would miss this place and many of the people in it a great deal. I would like to see how life plays out for many here. Will itme meet his Taylor Swift? Will lessingham ever get that BJ? Will deadzone75 ever experience the SFT? It would be just dandy if the slow down was because this malady is fading away as an issue in society. Somehow I think that’s not the case. Quite what the issue is I am not sure. |

I doubt another site as good as this one exists elsewhere. |

More than the domain issue, as Baza has been saying for some time, this site is dying. It has been dying for a long time. I am one of many who took a lot of time away over the last year or so, for multiple reasons, one of which being that I found my posts repetitive...annoyingly so. I mean, how many times can I say that I need to get laid? How many ways can I whine about wanting a blowjob, how many threads can I make about partner-sharing or slipping around between two well-oiled, wriggling women? How many times can I revisit morning wood or offer thoughts on the logistics of gloryholes. Hmmm...come to think of it, why haven't I been talking about all of this shit more?
But when existing or new members do put out new threads, it seems they fizzle out pretty quickly for the most part, with only a few tried and true threads still kicking. I think the potential is still here for this place to catch fire.

Maybe new members come here looking for a silver bucket solution. The harsh reality of the fact the only thing they can change is themselves is too disheartening.
By the way, Lessingham also wonders if the BJ will ever materialise!!!

The domain record says: iliasm.org Registered in: 2016 Registered at: GoDaddy.com, LLCGoDaddy.com, LLC Maybe the record hasn't updated and there's cause for concern, but it's not showing up as available or recently purchased. Someone could register another domain: iliasm.club, for example. Worst case scenario. I'd have to re-record the intro to all the podcasts. Blech. Re:deadness. * REFUSED* is at 11 episodes. I figured I'd try to get it on the 'net when I got an even dozen. Maybe it'd bring some traffic here. Some have suggested it. Still hoping someone will be our second interview. You are correct with your advice. BUT many new people do not know that. Like so many other people that discover forums like this, I, they were hoping for an easier solution and a way to get back to a point in their life when the marriage was working better.
These are simply dysfunctional marriages that would be better put behind us where this is achievable.
Sometimes it takes posters 5 or 10 years to come to this realization. I read and tried to implement things from 20 relationship, self-help books before i realized or admitted, there is no fixing some relationships.
So my guess is people will stumble onto the ILIASM site, post their story, look for answers to solve a problem as they see it, complain some more and do what posters have done in the past. Some posters stay for a while and some post a few times and we never hear from them again.
