Just finished watching the biggest load of crap on Netflix, “Kate”. A LOT of very graphic violence, and the dumbest plot line out.
just got me thinking again how is it that nudity or sexuality is a big deal but graphic violence is ok. Just one of the things that gets this grumpy old fart pissed off 😀 (don’t get me started on people who drive without lights or those who tailgate)

...... nudity or sexuality is a big deal but graphic violence is ok. I look back to some of the 1940 and 1950 western movies for kids. Lots of stage coach or bank robberies, a shoot out on main/high street, the open range verses the fenced ranchers and then there are the good guys VS the bad guys racing through town, a shoot out in an abandoned warehouse, don't forget the popular video games like the car theft (?Grand theft auto?) or the one-person-shooter games.
Although I used to play "space invaders" and "frogger" on an Atari video console.
On another platform I did play moon landing and "The Oregon Trail." Those were more of a "plan ahead type of game.
Maybe if they showed more scenes of Trauma and Emergency Room medical procedures with all of the violent movies, maybe some of the violence would be reduced.
My inside joke concerning all of the "shoot-em-up westerns is, they needed to have more doctors treating the bloodied wounded and more undertakers carting off dead bodies in those "kids westerns."

I do not like violence in movies. I close my eyes or avoid the movies.
I do like sensual sex scenes. I didn't enjoy them when I was in my SM because they reminded me of what I was missing, and I literally was embarassed and angry watching them with my refuser. I do enjoy such scenes now.
