People might think I'm weird and stop talking to me. I'm really taking a chance here. This is nerd humor (if you're into philosophy), and I am more of a nerd than some people think. I did a big term paper about the existentialists in college; and also read "The Stranger" in French for a language class. Yes, I am very nerdy sometimes! existentialcomics.com/comic/140

Mm-hmm. I remember reading "The Plague", but in a German translation. Depressingly depressed, that Camus, in how that book came out. I didn't want to read more, just like I didn't want to read more after Kafka's The Trial. They both ended up killing themselves.
Some people should not play with existentialism, it's very close to the edge of Nietsche's abyss. And little old me with my fear of heights .... Interesting view, though. I've been camping there since I was 14 - when our religion and philosophy teacher introduced us to Sartre and L'Être et le néant a year later, I had found the place to build my home.
:-D

DryCreek b.t.w. I think the Super Soaker is definitely one answer! "What was that question again?"

I read through some of the other comics, thinking one might put a positive spin on it. I guess there's no positive spin.

Love it. I recognize the people at the top: Kierkegaard, Sartre, Nietzsche, and Christopher Walken.
