I have a feeling you might want more serious discussion, but this episode of the Big Bang Theory is the first thing I thought of reading this:
Interesting concept; I think I prefer actual people. Some things a robot cannot replace. =)

Actually no not serious. That is the second thing I thought of after Asimov!

I'm married to a robot. It's cold and unimaginative. Sure, it will let me have sex with it if I turn it on, but why bother.

I'm looking for a real human man, with an imagination and the willingness to use it. A fear that my abstinence would have turned me cold and unimaginative. But, the robot would have the advantage that I would at least initially be clumsy and unskilled. If someone had a choice between me and the robot, I'd sadly recommend the robot. I couldn't push the like icon. I wish there was a sad face icon. I'll use this one ?

Yes but in 20 or 30 years would it even be strange?

Another vote for Asimov. But things aren't too far from it as far as I can tell. "RealDoll" has their stuff looking and feeling pretty damn real, so I hear(I will never know, way faduck out of my price range). Flip side, take a moment and watch robot shows on Discovery, NatGeo, or Smithsonian channel, and then it starts to get spooky.

But i think they prices can range from high 4 to low 5 digits. Money would be better spent on a divorce, or car, or other place to live, or outsourcing, or whatever...

If you are looking for a relationship then no these machines probably wouldn't fit the bill but as a sex partner they would be waaaayyyy better than porn.
