Tonight: An exciting evening of doing laundry and watching The Holiday on Lifetime.  I don't plan on leaving the house unless absolutely necessary tomorrow, too cold! |

Reading a great book.
Someone my wife deals with that apparently knows me diagnosed me with "High Functioning Asperger's Syndrome". She recommended a book I should read that her contact/friend/therapist says will help me deal better with people.
"Look Me In The Eye: My Life with Asperger's Syndrome".
I'm wondering if the recommendation was a joke, a mistake, or if the recommender didn't read it.
The book is awesome. It's more of an adventure, akin to a real life Forest Gump, or one of the Hunter Thompson books. But it certainly isn't a text book or anything about learning to deal with Asperger's.

Last full day of Post sm partner and my vacation. We are at Amelia Island FL. Had great food. Watched the giant shrimp fall at 7 pm. Made love. Our 5th New Year here.

Just came back from a walk up the street to the Atlantic Ocean. A beautiful, clear, full moonlight night temp in the mid 50's. It's gorgeous on the tranquil waters of the ocean and the river. (only one ankle slapper tonight) Even better to see it all highlighted with fireworks!
Here's to new beginnings! Let the restoration begin! I've also been applying for jobs on line as I prepare for my divorce hearing in the next two weeks.

This Christmas and New Year have been a real downer for me. I have had a hell of a cold; fever, chills the whole she-bang. It came on me suddenly. I am just really feeling human again. Worst of all is I have lied to my fellow ILIASMers. I said I would be pumping my little swimmers into my partner in the 3 appropriate sperm pumping places. Well that didn't happen, largely because I don't want to infect her with what ever got me. Hopefully after I recuperate I can make up the lost opportunity.
UPDATE......Jan.2, 2018......was able to fill 2 of the 3 swimmer catchers on New Years day, (well, honestly I didn't fill them, just made a deposit)

Just got back from an ok meeting but I’m more excited about eating pizza with my current guy. Not sure much else will be eaten tonight but it’s okay by me. He is who he is & for now, that’s cool.
Next week I get to start a second part-time job (more in my field than my current cashier position), while continuing my studies for a BA. I won’t have the degree finished by the time I’m 50 (next August), but maybe within a year after that.
Livin the dream. (Seriously- very happy about many areas of my life, even if my sex life still isn’t outa this world)

No nothing expected tonight home or outside, so no changes there as yet. Hopefully that 18 comes with some better days. Spending the last part of 17 in bed with the tablet & the cats. Cats are cool. If you're nice to them they're totally loyal.
